w-inds. arrival in Hong Kong news (2nd update)

w-inds. received an award for having the best sales record in HK under Japan Korea record.

w-inds. composed by 3 members, Tachibana Keita, Chiba Ryohei and Ogata Ryuichi arrived in Hong Kong from japan yesterday will hold a concert tonight. Whent hey arrived the airport yesterday, they met a huge sum of fans caused chaotic encironment.

After 8 years, w-inds. has finally fulfilled their promise to hold their first concert in Hong Kong tonight. Dress in handsome suit, they stepped out from the arrival hall at 2.45pm led by their dancers troop, there were about 300 fans there to greet them, carrying banners and there were security fence to prevent fans from getting too near to w-inds. Originally, w-inds. thought of interacting with the fans will just have to wave their hands to the fans as they were escorted out.

In order to let the fans know, as the 7 people car left, Keita popped out from above holding a fist to thank the fans for their support causing fans to scream over and over again.



After that, they attended a press conference in the hotel that they are staying, W Hotel and Ryuichi jokingly said he felt like a super star while at the airport.

Organizers, Mr. Lin presented a souvenir to w-inds. and in addition, they are awarded an award by HK IFPI for the best record sales under Japan Korea record for 5 consecutive years.





w-inds. schedule in HK is really tight but Ryuichi said he wish to have some tea and Keita wishes to swim in the hotel's swimming pool.

All of them are looking smart in there with their suit. haha! Ryuichi's pose looked really confident. haha! Keita's new hairstyle is cool too.

Alright, so it's reported that there are many fans all around Asia gathered at the airport to greet the arrival of Japan's pop group, w-inds. Apart from their local fans, fans from Japan, Macau, China and even South Korea were there to greet them. Fans continuously screamed for their names to the point of deafening. About 300 to 400 fans presented at the airport and the environment was so heated up that frighten the tourists. Security guards became tighter and tighter and forbidden fans to go too near to them.

It was really chaotic that caused w-inds. don't dare to move around but just to wave their hands from a distance and soon they were escorted to the secret passage and left the place.

More than 2 hours later, w-inds. arrived at the hotel that they are staying, W hotel to attend the press conference. During the press conference, w-inds. talked what will be the concert about and at the same time, Hk took this opportunity to present an award to them for having an extremely good sales results all these years.

During the conference too mentioned about Keita being the supporting cast in Ohitorisama and Keita said it's his first time to act; hence there are many things that he didn't know and sometimes will have the need to discuss with the director. In addition, Koike Teppei in the drama who has been a good friend of Keita for 8 years, they worked harmoniously together. Good buddy, Chiba Ryohei and Ogata Ryuichi appreciate Keita too and commented that he looks friendly in his play and doesn't look like acting at all. haha! Both of them jokingly said, in the future w-inds. might leave only 2 members. haha!

What's special about this time is, 3 members' birthday are very close to each other and the nearest birthday for now is Chiba Ryohei. Is there any special way that they would like to celebrate it? Then they said normally, at the beginning of December, they will go to have some meal together and wish each other Happy Birthday.

So, when they were asked is there anything special that they would like to do in HK this time? They said apart from tasting the foods, they would like to swim in the hotel's swimming pool that they are staying because they heard the hotel's swimming pool is constructed at high place; hence they would like to swim.. but the problem is, none of them remember to bring their swimming suit/ trunk along. haha!
