w-inds. held a Christmas live on December 19 in Tokyo with the attendance of 2,200 fans celebrating Christmas in advance.

After the performance has over, Chiba Ryohei pushed a big cake from the backstage to the stage, the reason being was to celebrate both Keita's and Ryohei's belated birthday, which were on last week's Wednesday (16th) and Thursday (17th).

At the same time, they took the opportunity to announce that their earlier concert in Hong Kong, the DVD will be released on next year's February 10th instead.

In the meantime, there were some netizens spreading the rumor of Tachibana Keita's younger sister, Tachibana Mio being fired news. It's said that her name was being removed from the Japan's official web name list, but the management didn't announce any termination news by far.

After the live, one of the members, Chiba Ryohei suddenly pushed out a big cake to the stage to celebrate a belated birthday for his two close brothers in the group, Tachibana Keita (12.16) and Ogata Ryuichi (12.17). In addition, Ryohei invited 10 fans from the audience to get on stage to deliver their birthday wishes to both Keita and Ryuichi and such gestures caused Keita and Ryuichi to be deeply moved.

Finally, as for the concert DVD news in Hong Kong, it will be released on next year February 10th.

After completed both Hong Kong and Taiwan's concert, recently w-inds. was busy with their promotion activities for their new single, New World/ Truth ～最後の真実～. On the other hand, their record company has held a Christmas live receiving 2,200 fans attended the live where w-inds. danced and sang a total of 7 songs included their new songs, New World and Truth.

Apart from that, they celebrated Tachibana Keita's and Ogata Ryuichi's belated birthday on the stage as well. Their live DVD, which was held in Hong Kong will be on sale on next year February.

Reports from another news.

It has been reported that Sweet Fantasy live DVD in Hong Kong will be released in the middle of February next year in Japan.

w-inds. has recently held a Christmas event on December 19 in Tokyo, receiving around 2,200 fans attended the live. w-inds. sang and danced a total of 7 song, and a belated birthday celebration was held for both Keita and Ryuichi as well. Chiba Ryohei pushed out a big strawberry cake on stage, surprised both Keita and Ryuichi.

Ryohei asked both of them to express their feelings and thoughts, Keita said the following year, he will be close to stepping into 30 year old, he can't help but to have a slight crisis feeling. haha!

What it meant by crisis feeling at above is, a feeling of stepping into the 30s (sort of like a mid-life crisis) that is a common thoughts among the Japanese regardless of male or female. haha!

On the other hand, if it's based on the reports as above, the DVD release has changed from January 27 to mid February? Let's wait for more official announcement from their web or management or record company side.

w-inds. departure in Taiwan

Japan's idol group, w-inds. left Taiwan in the afternoon. Keita, who is wearing pink long sleeve shirt, Ryuichi at the back and Ryohei who is with cap at Ryuichi's back. Many fans were there to send them off saying goodbye to them and w-inds. waved their hands to them saying goodbye to the fans.



Fans were pushing trying to get as close as possible to their idols while the staffs were trying their best to fence them off. Coincidently, Korean idol, Andy (Shinhwa's member) was leaving Taiwan at the same time too; hence police worked extra hard trying to keep fans stay in the restricted line but as soon as their idols appeared, fans can't stop screaming their head off for their idols, snapping pictures and pushing their way closer to their idols.

In order to prevent any injuries or accident, police had put up the lines for the fans not to cross over in advance.

Keita with his pink long sleeve shirt patiently waited for people to pass through the gate and fans became more and more aggressive trying to get closer to them and it's reported that there was a fan who got pushed down by others but luckily no serious injury. Keita didn't get affected by it and still having his smile on his face constantly and he constantly wave to the fans saying goodbye to them. Later, he enters the VIP pathway to boarding.

Sweet Fantasy live report from Hong Kong

This is not going to be a full report. haha!

Right after the official announcement of w-inds. will be having their Asia tour in Taiwan and HK, both fans from both countries are busy planning on how can they catch up with w-inds.

HK fans have planned in advance that on the day of the concert, they wanted to celebrate Ryohei's birthday in advance for him.

Hence, they have planned that the first few rows fans will give out a signal to everyone else in that venue. Once the heart shape signal was raised, means that's the time they all should start signing the birthday song for Ryohei and they will end with wishing him お誕生日おめでとう！ means Happy birthday.

But the plan didn't go as smooth as they have planned. Reason being is, many fans have said that they can't see the heart's signal at all; hence they aren't aware of when they should start singing.

And so, only those who were aware of that signal sang but that resulted only a small portion of fans sang it and so those who aren't aware of the signals didn't sing it.

Due to only a portion of fans sang it, it's too soft and Ryohei wasn't aware of it at all as he can't hear it but then sensitive Keita actually heard that and so he quickly gave a pat to Ryohei and told him that.

Only then Ryohei realized it and said thank you to all of them.

Haha! Though it didn't go as well as have been planned, yet the fans were glad that Ryohei knew that and fans had a great time in that live.

This has shown that Keita does have high level of sensitivity to his surroundings eh.. and he is quick to response. lol.

Therefore, Ryohei-kun, you should thank Keita for that notice eh; otherwise you would have missed something wonderful that the fans have given you. hehe!

w-inds. arrival in Hong Kong news (3rd update)

w-inds. members are Chiba Ryohei, Tachibana Keita and Ogata Ryuichi arrived at the press conference yesterday.



Keita lifted a V sign as to greet the fans.

Around 50 Japanese fans boarded the same plane as w-inds. and arrived at Hong Kong.



Approximately 300 fans were there to greet their idols.



w-inds. are awarded an award by HK IFPI for having the best sales record under Japan Korea record for 5 consecutive years.

w-inds. received an award for having the best sales record in HK under Japan Korea record.

w-inds. composed by 3 members, Tachibana Keita, Chiba Ryohei and Ogata Ryuichi arrived in Hong Kong from japan yesterday will hold a concert tonight. Whent hey arrived the airport yesterday, they met a huge sum of fans caused chaotic encironment.

After 8 years, w-inds. has finally fulfilled their promise to hold their first concert in Hong Kong tonight. Dress in handsome suit, they stepped out from the arrival hall at 2.45pm led by their dancers troop, there were about 300 fans there to greet them, carrying banners and there were security fence to prevent fans from getting too near to w-inds. Originally, w-inds. thought of interacting with the fans will just have to wave their hands to the fans as they were escorted out.

In order to let the fans know, as the 7 people car left, Keita popped out from above holding a fist to thank the fans for their support causing fans to scream over and over again.



After that, they attended a press conference in the hotel that they are staying, W Hotel and Ryuichi jokingly said he felt like a super star while at the airport.

Organizers, Mr. Lin presented a souvenir to w-inds. and in addition, they are awarded an award by HK IFPI for the best record sales under Japan Korea record for 5 consecutive years.





w-inds. schedule in HK is really tight but Ryuichi said he wish to have some tea and Keita wishes to swim in the hotel's swimming pool.
